When creating a Big Football day event, you must complete the checklist to 100%:
Note: The Designated Safeguarding Officer is only required if the Big Football Day events include youth/junior participants (any participant under 18). I.e. If it is solely for adult participants, you are not required to add a Designated Safeguarding officer, which would change the checklist to 3 conditions.

What type of events do you run?
If the event includes Youth participants, you must add a Designated Safeguarding officer to complete the checklist. -
Lead Contact
Add the Lead contact responsible for your events.

Adding a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
A FAN number is required - This will check they have a valid DBS and an up-to-date Welfare Officer qualification. If you need to find your information to complete this section, please go to your FA Club Portal.
If your Designated Safeguarding Officer does not have a FA Welfare Officer qualification and they have completed a relevant Welfare officer qualification through the Premier League (PL) or English Football League (EFL), they can tick the box to complete the checklist:
If you have completed each condition correctly, your checklist should now say 100% complete!
